What We Believe and Teach
The congregations of our tri-parish are all members of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) . Our primary goal is to fulfill the mission given to the apostles by Jesus in Matthew 28:19-20, “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” This gives us two primary purposes, to grow ourselves in Christ’s teaching and to go out and share that teaching with others.
The word of God is our primary and absolute rule for all our teaching. We hold the Bible as the verbally inspired word of God himself. This means that we believe what it says even if that conflicts with our limited human reason or if it offends our corrupted human sensibilities. As a result all of our teaching and preaching center on the same point the Bible itself centers on: Jesus Christ crucified to pay for our sins.

God’s blessings to you!
My name is Jason Liebenow. I was born in Texas and have also lived in Southeastern Wisconsin and Southeastern Michigan.
After I graduated from high school in Romeo, Michigan, I decided to go to Martin Luther College because I really wanted to learn more about the Bible. As I have continued to study more and more of God’s Word, I more and more want to share that Word with others. I am grateful that God has given me the opportunity to do so here in the North Woods.
God has greatly blessed me through my studies and I pray that I will be a blessing to you. My family and I are very excited to be here and we hope to see you soon!
Praying for God's richest blessings for you in Christ,
~Pastor Jason Liebenow
